Exhibitor numbers start to snowball for major aftermarket show

29 October 2002 #SMMT News

The number of companies signing up for auto1 and InterTyre next spring is growing as the automotive aftermarket prepares for its biggest event for two years.

Leading names in the industry are already giving away clues as to what they will be showcasing at the four day event that takes place at the NEC, Birmingham between 27 and 30 April 2003.

Sykes Pickavant, aside from showing their latest handheld diagnostic equipment, will also have staff on hand to help non-franchised garages develop specialised solutions for their businesses.

Body shops looking for that extra edge should check out what Stanners Equipment will have on their stand. Spot welders, spray gun cleaners and infra red paint dryers will sit beside the showpiece of the stand, the new commercial body shop pneumatic painter’s platform lift.

Other confirmed exhibitors include Karcher, who will be displaying their full range of cleaning machines, and Fuel Parts who’ll show their new electronic catalogue along with the latest in catalytic converters.

auto1 is organised by SMMT in association with the Automotive Distribution Federation, A1 Motor Stores, Factoring Services Group, Garage Equipment Association, Independent Factors Association, IMPACT, Institute of the Motor Industry, National Tyre Distributors Association, Retail Motor Industry Federation and the Tyre Industry Council
