Diagnostics specialists at Automotive Trade Show

20 September 2004 #SMMT News

Next year’s Automotive Trade Show@CV Show, from 5 to 7 April 2005 at the NEC in Birmingham, will be the focus for diagnostics specialists with nine of the industry’s major players already confirmed as exhibitors.

These companies include Advanced Diagnostics, Alba Diagnostics, Autodata, Autologic, Boston Garage Equipment, Crypton Technology Group, Johnson Controls, Supertracker and Ten Automotive Equipment – each of whom exhibited this year and have been quick to re-book for 2005.

‘Exhibitors are voting with their feet and want to enjoy the same success at the next show as they did at the last one,’ said Richard Gibbs, CV Show Committee Chairman.

‘Over 300 companies have already signed up for the combined shows with many industry leading aftermarket, component and equipment firms booking even larger stands than before. Indeed, exhibitor space sales are already well ahead of the 2004 figures at this time last year,’ he adds.

The Show, effectively two major trade exhibitions in one, had its most successful year in 2004, with a combined total of nearly 29,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors. The aim is to ensure that the show continues to be the leading event in the UK.
