Leon Cupra world debut at British International Motor Show

31 May 2006 #SMMT News

SEAT has confirmed that the Leon Cupra will make its world debut at The British International Motor Show at Press Day on 18 July.

This brings the number of confirmed world launches to four, with debuts for the Vauxhall Corsa, and as yet unspecified models from Mazda and BMW.

SEAT decided that the show at London’s ExCeL would be the ideal opportunity to reveal the Leon Cupra, with the British public buying more hot hatches than in any other country, and the UK being the biggest market for the outgoing Cupra R model.

The new generation Leon Cupra promises even more power and driver appeal than its highly respected predecessor, and will go on sale in the UK early in 2007.

Public access to The British International Motor Show will be from 20-30 July. For more information see www.britishmotorshow.co.uk
