* CV registrations: up 4.4% in April and 5.9% to 396,524 for the rolling year.
* Trucks: up 29.9% in April and 24.8% to 56,436 for the rolling year.
* Vans: up 0.5% for the month and 3.3% to 340,088 for the rolling year.
“Buoyant truck registrations are welcome and strong order books suggest the trend will continue through the year,” said Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive. “Van registrations are up too, though more modestly and again we expect to see the order and registration pattern continue in the next few months on the back of that strong demand.”
