CV Show 2009

03 November 2008 #SMMT News

Six months since record numbers of visitors attended the 2008 Commercial Vehicle Show, on-line registration is already open for free entry to the 2009 event.  And with six months to go before the doors open on 28 April, over 350 exhibitors have booked stands covering more than 70,000 square metres of the NEC Birmingham.

“This is further proof, if proof were needed, of just how successful the Commercial Vehicle Show has become,” said Road Haulage Association Chief Executive, Roger King.

“2009 will be the Show’s 10th anniversary.  When the Show Partners (the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers) made the decision to amalgamate their three separate events, we knew that we were on to a winner; not just for ourselves but for the industry as a whole.  The CV Show is now the only transport show in Europe that is run BY an industry FOR an industry.”

With the accent firmly on reducing operators’ running costs and caring for the environment, exhibitors will be presenting the very latest in transport, distribution and logistics equipment and systems. Go to www.cvshow.com to register now.

If your business is freight transport, then the 2009 Commercial Vehicle Show is THE place to go.  If you mean business, you just can’t afford to miss it.

The CV Show will be held from 28-30 April 2009.  It is owned by the CV Show Partnership, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), a professional sector of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers).  Crystal Communications handles stand space sales and marketing for the Partnership.
