A forum entitled, “Low Carbon Vehicles and the Future of the Internal Combustion Engine” will be hosted by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders on Friday 5 December 2008 at Forbes House, Halkin Street, London.
The agenda includes representatives from top organisations in the motor industry discussing these issues during a three-hour seminar from 10.00 and closing with lunch. The topics discussed will include:
*An overview of technology needs and developments for low carbon light duty engines
*Development needs for heavy duty diesel engines
*Interactions between biofuels and lubricants and effects of engine oil durability
*Challenges of the H2IC engine
