SMMT is supporting the Platform Technology for Military Vehicles event to be held on 2 and 3 December 2009 at the Bristol Marriott and has negotiated discount rates for SMMT members.
The two-day networking event, organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), will examine developments in the technology, manufacture and design of modern military vehicles.
The conference will also seek to determine the latest challenges and solutions facing engineers as they work to meet requirements in efficiency, usability and advancements such as hybrid technology. Throughout both days, key presentations by leading military platform manufacturers and military technology companies will provide a comprehensive guide to the recent developments in engineering and technology in the sector.
The event is specifically targeted towards international government and ministry procurers, technology manufacturers and consultants, senior executives from research and development organisations, electronics and software manufacturers, prime contractors and subcontractors.
