SMMT Chief Executive, Paul Everitt, today addressed a conference event, hosted by the Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA), presenting the industry view on the changing dynamic of UK automotive and the challenges this poses to the remarketing sector.
Intended to determine the 2012 automotive remarketing agenda, the ‘Shaping the Future of Remarketing’ conference brought together over 175 senior executives from across the sector to debate the role of remarketing in the motor industry at both a micro and macro level over the coming 12 months.
Held at the newly-built Silverstone Wing at the home of British motorsport, the event included a line-up of top industry experts who provided unique insight into the challenges facing the world of automotive remarketing and put forward ideas on how businesses can overcome the difficulties ahead. The speaker line-up included:

Throughout the conference, delegates could individual electronic voting handsets to respond to live questions from speakers, as well as provide input to the event’s concluding panel discussion that involved a group of high-profile remarketing professionals.
