19 September 2014 #SMMT News

SMMT’s upcoming Open Forum will give UK automotive suppliers a valuable insight into the development and future of autonomous vehicles.

The event will take place on Tuesday 4 November at Cranmore Park, Solihull, bringing together 300 delegates from across the automotive sector. The day will feature a range of presentations regarding opportunities for industry investment, Automotive Council issues and the industry outlook for the future.

Speakers for the Open Forum are set to include Hugh Dickerson, Head of Automotive at Google, Lawrence Davies, Deputy CEO of the Automotive Investment Organisation and James Thompson, Purchasing Manager for Powertrain at Ford Motor Company.

November’s Open Forum will also be the first to feature a number of specialised workshops on key issues, in particular access to finance, with the opportunity to register your interest nearer the event.

To register for the event, click here. Attendance is free for all SMMT members, and just £50 (+VAT) for non-members.

There are still exhibition spaces available too at £250 (+VAT) for SMMT members and £500 (+VAT) for non-members. To book a stand just fill in and return the booking form. SMMT is also looking for a sponsor for this event.
