Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is to employ the highest number of young people for its 2015 Apprenticeship Programme since it was established in 2006, with 16 places now available on the scheme.

Successful applicants to the programme will combine invaluable on-the-job training at the manufacturer’s Goodwood facility with classroom-based study, to achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to work alongside skilled craftspeople experienced in leather and wood work, painting and engineering.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, “I am delighted to announce the start of recruitment for next year’s apprenticeship programme. We are committed to developing future talent at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and I am especially pleased that we will welcome a record number of new apprentices to the business in 2015.”

In addition to the 40 men and women currently undertaking an apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce Motor cars, the company also employs more than 100 undergraduate students for industrial placements lasting up to 12 months.

Candidates for the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars apprentice scheme are invited to apply online. The closing date for applications is 31 January 2015 and successful candidates will join the programme in September 2015.
