30 June 2015 #Sustainability Case studies

Jaguar Land Rover has installed the UK’s largest rooftop solar PV array at their new Engine Manufacturing Centre, in Wolverhampton. The new facility has been designed with sustainability embedded throughout and has recently been awarded BREEAM’s ‘excellent’ rating for the design stage.

It has over 21,000 panels, with capacity of some 6MW. The system is estimated to generate more than 30% of the centre’s energy requirements. The system will also save over 2,400t CO2 per annum.
