Bosch has developed a connected accelerator pedal, which can reduce fuel consumption and improve safety via gentle vibration alerts through the accelerator pedal.
It is connected with the vehicle’s assistance and navigation systems to warn the driver about potential accidents and fuel consumption by giving guidance on when to change gear and reduce use of the accelerator pedal.
This can reduce fuel consumption by as much as 7%, with a comparable drop in CO2 emissions
