Environmental Audit Committee report on Air Quality

The Environmental Audit Committee has published its report on Air Quality. The report calls on government to ensure that EU emissions targets are met through a number of measures, including the establishment of a national framework of low emissions zones.
MOT test regime: Position paper

This paper outlines SMMT’s position on the MOT test regime, in anticipation of a review of the regime which is expected to commence in late 2011. SMMT strongly supports the current MOT test regime, which is critical in ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles on UK roads, and also directly supports many jobs within the sector.
