Bus and coach registrations fell 30.6% to 636 units in June. Overall registrations declined 21.3% for the first half of the year to 3,861 units. Converted bus registrations fell 20% to 333 units.

Total CV registrations were up 7.6% at the year’s halfway point with June volumes rising 4.5%.

SMMT has published Electric Vehicle (EV) registration figures for June and the year-to-date.

New car registrations passed the one million mark in June, growing 10% in the first half of 2013 to 1,163,623 units. The UK new car market saw the 16th successive monthly rise in June, growing 13.4% to 214,957 units.
