How Improvements are implemented
The Industry Forum team comprises of 35 highly experienced Engineers who come from a broad range of industrial backgrounds and functions covering both manufacturing and non manufacturing areas. Industry Forum Engineers are trained to understand the context of the client environment and adapt the tools and techniques they use to suit the needs of the organization.
To implement its core “learning by doing” ethos it has invested heavily in developing its own staff to become multi-skilled providers of vocational skills. It is also an approved provider to the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing.
Background
Formed in 1996 from a unique collaboration between the UK Government and the UK automotive industry, Industry Forum has developed and grown into an organization serving customers in many diverse industries and sectors on five continents.
Industry Forum has achieved recognition by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) as the only UK based organization approved to train, evaluate and qualify third party certification body auditors in ISO/TS16949:2002, and is the sole UK license for the Japanese Institute for Productive Maintenance (JIPM) administering its Total Productive Maintenance Excellence Award in Western Europe.
