Engine Section

The Engine Section of SMMT meets to exchange views and enhance the engine industry

The Engine Section’s main activities are:

• to represent members’ interests to UK government and internationally
• to provide technical information and regulatory advice
• to inform and consult on legislative developments
• to provide business statistics and market information
• to offer competitiveness improvement programmes.

The Section’s members are companies involved in manufacturing, distributing or designing engines or engine components. Meetings are held as necessary.

Section correspondence is restricted to Section members in the restricted area of this site, or as distributed by the Committee Secretary.
