Without limitation and subject to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, the Board shall be concerned with:

• SMMT policy and business strategy
• SMMT budget
• Sections of membership
• Membership, associate and affiliate applications.

Criteria for Appointment

The SMMT Executive comprises:

• The honorary officers
• The chief executive
• The company secretary
• Those members of Council so elected by the sections of members to the Board.

The availability of Board agendas, minutes and other papers is restricted to Board members and can be viewed in the restricted area of this site.
