This forum is responsible for all matters connected with logistics, b2b electronic communications and supply chain efficiency, including:
- physical logistics
- logistics processes
- transport of goods and vehicles
- packaging and pooling
- transport labels and auto ID
- agreeing communication needs for logistics processes
- logistics best practices, agreements and evaluations
The purpose of the group is to:
- Network with relevant industry contacts.
- Updates on new and future legislation, policies and strategy. Followed by discussion on impact and actions.
- Drive initiatives, monitor the progress of projects.
- Share ideas, knowledge and insights.
- Learn from academic experts on new trends and strategies.
- Learn about new opportunities
- Input to UK perspective in developing new Europe wide and worldwide industry standards through Odette. Odette project summaries are listed under the working documents tab.
