SMMT International Automotive Summit 2024

Tuesday 25 June 2024,
09:00 – 16:00 BST (GMT +1)
IET Savoy, London

Now entering its sixteenth year, the Summit has become a fixture in the UK automotive calendar and one of the most high-profile corporate events for the sector. Our industry is in the midst of a revolution – not only in terms of the vehicles that we produce but also in the means of production, the changing needs of our people, their skills, and the business imperative of sustainability, and yet, once again, the automotive industry has shown itself to be one of the most innovative, resilient and exciting sectors in the UK economy. This year’s Summit will look towards the next decade, exploring where the industry should be heading and what it needs to do to get there.

The agenda will address some of the key issues for automotive; the industry roadmap for the net zero transition; how to improve the UK’s competitiveness and compete against fierce global competition; and the opportunities that will arise for businesses that seize the moment and innovate now for the future. There will also be panel discussions throughout the day focusing on the market, technology, and people. For the industry at large, it will be a vital messaging opportunity to reach national and international policy makers, as well as the wider public.

Speakers will include senior executives from vehicle manufacturers, policymakers, and a host of content experts from the automotive and aligned industries.

The event will attract an audience of 300 senior level representatives from across the breadth of the industry, including vehicle manufacturers, component manufacturers, and the aftermarket, government, and the media.
