Outline of the job:
- To support the development, delivery and promotion of member services projects
- Provide administrative support for project and committee meetings, and member engagement activities
- Provide administrative support for Automotive Supplier Finder and related activities
- To support the department with industry engagement activities
What the job involves:
- Support development, implementation and promotion of member services products to both members and potential members ensuring high level of usage – in doing so, supporting membership recruitment and retention.
- Provide administrative support for all relevant meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes and reports and ensure that agreed actions are implemented.
- Provide administrative support for member and non member engagement projects
- Maintain and update the quarterly funding and support guide ensuring publication and website is up to date as appropriate.
- Support relevant projects including events, seminars and meetings (eg Meet the Buyer, Open Forum)
- Support data maintenance activities including Automotive Supplier Finder and Integra (CRMS)
- Support the project manager, project coordinators and department head with other projects as required.
- Other duties as required.
Post holder requirements:
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Highly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to form good working relationships with people
- Some experience of working on projects and helping deliver to plan
- Ability to multi-task on different projects.
- Highly organised with a structured approach to tasks
- Good grasp of ICT skills including MS office.
- Methodically and able to organise minutes and agendas in logical order
- Reliable and solid team player with a strong sense of shared objectives and common goals
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to team work
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
