A quarter century more success for the CV Show

01 August 2024 #Uncategorised

With the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025 celebrating a quarter century as the place where business gets done, we’re already looking forward to another 25 years of even greater success – so it’s hugely exciting that journey begins with a new strategic partnership between the Show and first-class trade show organiser Nineteen Group. Given the Show is already positioned as the UK’s pre-eminent exhiition of new light and heavy commercial vehicles, having Nineteen Group’s expertise on board means the event will continue to provide unrivalled business networking opportunities while expanding its offering even further.

The timing could not be better, with the van and truck sectors at a pivotal moment in their transition to net zero, and with a new generation of connected and automated vehicle technology on the horizon. The pace of change with new innovation coming thick and fast every year means the Commercial Vehicle Show has never been more important to provide vehicle manufacturers, dealers, distributors and hundreds of equipment, parts and service suppliers the opportunity to showcase new products. With Nineteen Group, therefore, we will create an even more dynamic and impactful event for exhibitors and visitors.

Another flagship event that provides an opportunity for businesses, and especially SMMT members, to showcase their products will be Electrified 2025, newly announced to take place on 13 March in central London. With a high-level view of the automotive industry and recent events including senior executives from the commercial vehicle sector, the event should be a key date in the diary for anyone interested in how vans, trucks, buses and coaches are placed in the UK automotive industry’s wider transition to electric and hydrogen mobility.

More information on visitor and exhibition opportunities at the Commercial Vehicle Show can be found here – while further details on SMMT Electrified 2025 are here.
