Glasby Pallets has taken delivery of four new SDC Freespan curtainsiders in response to escalating demand for its products and services, with another four on build for delivery in the coming months.
Based in Rotherham, the family-run company specialises in comprehensive pallet management, encompassing collection, delivery, recovery, recycling, and disposal.
Designed with a clear side aperture for ease of loading, the new EN 12642-XL rated Freespan trailers are built for strength and high load retention.
The trailer specifications were meticulously chosen by the firm to incorporate a range of durable features to optimise deliveries.
These include BPW axles, Haldex Gen 4 braking with a safe park system, steel-reinforced flooring, LED lighting, alloy infill sideguards, buffers, a two-rung galvanised step, easy-access coupling box, as well as strap and toolbox storage.
The Freespan curtainsiders incorporate SDC’s easy-roll curtain rail technology, designed for efficiency, safety, and smooth operation.
Their robust bolt-on-body design relieves stress on critical parts of the trailer and allows for inexpensive repairs in the event of damage.
So far this year, Glasby Pallets has added a total of two trucks and eight trailers to its fleet.
