Austin Contract Services, provider of biosolids transport to the agricultural sector, has added a second Renault Truck to its fleet as part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The new C480 8×4 Off Road with Wilcox tipper body, finished in metallic silver grey, was supplied by Renault Truck Commercials on a two-year Excellence repair and maintenance contract and will be mainly used for transporting biosolids to agricultural sites across the South East.
Built on a reinforced Renault Trucks’ construction chassis with steel bumpers, the vehicle is ideal for Austin Contract Services’ needs, offering off-road capabilities and enhanced ground clearance which are vital for businesses the company serves.
The C480 with sleeper cab features Renault Trucks’ “serenity” bunk, offering double the number of springs and a thicker mattress, a heated and ventilated driver’s seat, enhanced cab and night lighting and an electric roof vent.
Austin Contract Services has expanded its fleet significantly since 2021, growing from nine to 23 heavy goods vehicles, including a mix of tippers and hook loaders.
