Already the UK’s most popular event for the road transport, freight, distribution and logistics sector with more than 11,000 visitors, this year sees the Commercial Vehicle Show celebrate its 25th anniversary, having launched in 2000 – and this year’s edition will demonstrate just how far we have come since then. Indeed, hundreds of top brands are expected to exhibit, from OEMs and suppliers to solutions and service providers, with a revamped agenda offering fresh features, dedicated zones, hands-on demos and expert-led discussions on the very latest vehicle technology that can deliver transformative benefits for businesses.
Last year there were dozens of vehicles in display across the floor, demonstrating the event as the prime place for manufacturers and suppliers to launch and unveil new products – and this year is no different with a wide variety of vehicles being showcased to eager vehicle operators.
Following last year’s success, the CV Show will deliver a seminar programme and Q&A sessions, covering key topics such as the latest UK legislation, decarbonising and automating fleets, analysis of fuel costs, and the latest developments with roadside facilities around the UK. A focus on decarbonisation is critical given this year the UK is just a decade away from the end of sale of all new, non-zero emission vans and trucks weighing up to 26 tonnes.
The Show is the place to do business and get ahead of the game, therefore, with the vast majority of visitors having fleet purchasing authority – from C-suite executives and directors to transport managers and procurement professionals. Many attend the event to consider how best to upgrade and streamline their fleet operations, and that makes the Show a crucial date in the calendar in 2025 for generating leads.
