The Minister of Industries & Commerce, IT and Urban Development, Mr K T Rama Rao (KTR) and the Principal Secretary, Mr Jayesh Ranjan from the state of Telangana will be a leading a trade delegation to the UK.
One of the key areas that the Minister and Principal Secretary will focus on during their visit are the opportunities that the state can offer across EV manufacturing and charging infrastructure – mainly in terms of supply chains and technology. Telangana is one of the more advanced states in India when it comes to EV adoption and development. The state has already in 2020 come up with a ten-year “Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Policy”, which looks to support businesses interested in these areas.
