The SMMT Communications and International Department manages the Society’s external communications activities, working with our members and key stakeholders to promote UK automotive domestically and internationally. SMMT Communications and International also manages key industry events such as the Commercial Vehicle Show, the International Automotive Summit, SMMT Test Day, SMMT Connected and the SMMT Annual Dinner.
The communications team handle press requests for interviews, filming and comments on industry issues, as well as providing information and data about the UK’s automotive industry.
The international team ensures that UK automotive companies make the most of international business opportunities, by organising UK representation at key automotive trade shows and exhibitions around the world. For more information, e-mail the international team.
