We begin November by leading a UK automotive trade mission to Slovakia, centred on this year’s exciting CEE Automotive Supply Chain event. The UK delegation will receive a market briefing at the British Embassy before the event, which includes a conference and B2B meetings providing UK businesses with outstanding opportunities to engage with potential partners in Slovakia and neighbouring regions.
Next on the agenda, SMMT is supporting a Department for Business and Trade mission to CoMotion in Los Angeles, where a delegation of UK companies will meet with business leaders and policy makers to discuss the future of cities, next-generation vehicles and the systems which will underpin them.
We’ll wrap up the month with SMMT’s 107th Annual Dinner on 26 November, where 1,000 industry, government and media attendees will meet, network and celebrate the UK automotive sector’s successes in 2024.
With our sights already long set on 2025, we’ll kick off the year at Bharat Mobility Global Expo (formally Auto Expo) in India in January. We’re currently taking expressions of interest with more details expected soon.
