Session 2: Driving Inclusion Year-round: Keeping DE&I relevant
As many organisations reassess, scale back, or reframe their approach to DE&I, this interactive session explores what it means to keep the work relevant, credible, and sustainable.
The session will be hosted by Michael Briggs, Parter at Shoosmiths, alongside industry panellists to discuss how DE&I can evolve in response to external pressures, regulatory scrutiny, and shifting public debate. They will also explore how these external factors are impacting the decisions that companies make regarding DE&I and what this means for workplace culture and inclusion.
This will be followed by an interactive session with participants to discuss how to prioritise effort, embed inclusive practice into everyday work, and articulate DE&I in clear, practical terms that resonate with leaders and employees alike, workshopping some calls to action to ensure that we can continue to keep driving DE&I forward in our organisations.
The event is free to attend and open to all SMMT members
