SMMT’s Head of Policy Matt Ogg and Chief Economist Matt Croucher will present a summary of the Government’s Industrial Strategy and how that will impact the automotive sector.

They will also note how the strategy aligns with SMMT’s new report around improving the auto sectors competitive edge. This report utilises the findings from our first UK Automotive Business Leaders Barometer, a survey of member CEOs on the sectors economic performance and topical issues such as competitiveness drivers, investment activity, trade and net zero.
