Media accreditation

1. Please note that completion of the accreditation survey does not guarantee acceptance onto our media list.

2. Successful applicants will be contacted with a registration link, which includes a critical driving licence check that must be completed in advance of the event.

3. Please ensure that you provide details on circulation of print publications and reach, engagement and subscriber numbers of digital platforms / social media / broadcast channels. Circulation and digital engagement numbers must meet a level required by SMMT.

4. Please note that accreditation is not open to publishers, commercial / advertising staff, marketing executives, PRs or similar professionals and family members.

5. Successful media accreditation does not guarantee accreditation for future SMMT driving events.

6. Media coverage examples submitted in the application must have been published no more than two months before the event in question.

7. When at SMMT events, attendees must respect both the vehicles and the staff / other attendees. They must also obey any instructions from onsite marshals and event staff, at all times. Failure to do so can lead to the removal of your driving permit for the event in question and restrictions on attending future SMMT events.

8. SMMT reserves the right to refuse any accreditation request and to ask for additional information if required.
