The first MG6 sports fastback rolled off the production line at MG Motor’s factory in Longbridge this morning to mark the start of its production at the UK based facility. Designed and engineered in the UK, it is the first all-new MG to be produced at the site in 16 years.
Longbridge factory worker, Lisa Ponter, drove the first car off the line at 11am this morning. Around 400 employees are based at the site contributing to the production of the engines and electrics, as well as the testing of the car.
