Carlsen Baltic is displaying a new refrigeration body for home and urban delivery vehicles at the 2014 CV Show.
With a capacity of 3.5 tonnes, the body comprises multiple compartments and can be adjusted to different temperatures using a low-carbon, eutectic refrigeration system.
Linas Starkevicius, Managing Director, Carlsen Baltic, said, “It is the perfect solution for tpday’s distribution with multi-drop delivery with multiple door openings. This solution is used by many of Europe’s leading home and office food delivery companies such as Eisman, Bofrost and Mat på Jobbet, with over 5,000 vehicles in operation.”
A subsidiary of Denmark-based Carlsen Europa, Carlsen Baltic is a leading producer of lightweight refrigerated bodies – with its products including light and heavy vans up to six tonnes.
