Bosch Warwick Technology Centre

2013 saw Bosch open an automotive technology centre on the new campus of the University of Warwick Science Park in Coventry. The Bosch Warwick Technology Centre is now home to 30 Bosch automotive engineers, and will focus on providing engineering support to vehicle manufacturers in order to optimise existing Bosch technologies for specific applications, as well as developing new functionalities. The centre will train and up-skill the automotive workforce to deal with modern challenges (eg new automotive technologies including high-voltage hybrid and electric vehicles), as well as address the need to have skilled engineers working on applying technologies to vehicles in different ways (eg. bespoke engineering for premium car brands at the Bosch Warwick Technology Centre and MIRA).

Bosch also runs the state-of-the-art Service Training Centre in Uxbridge that can train up to 4,500 people every year, bringing a new generation of skilled technicians into the industry.
