News from Renault: Basildon-based PMS International Group Plc, the UK’s leading importer and distributor of high-volume consumer goods, has taken delivery of its first Euro-6 Renault Range D distribution rigids. Five new trucks comprising of two D18 4×2 18 tonners, with Optidriver gearboxes, high roof sleeper cab, Eco Fuel Pack, 29ft GRP box bodies and tuckaway tail lifts. With three D12 4×2 12 tonners with the Optitronic automated gearbox, sleeper cab, 24ft GRP box bodies and tuckaway lifts completing the current order.
Continued satisfaction with Renault trucks, its service and backup, and favourable running costs and fuel efficiency were the key factors in PMS International’s vehicle selection.
The new Range Ds will be used for distributing consumer goods including toys, novelties, Christmas decorations, housewares, gardening products, gifts and electronic gadgets across the UK. “Our distribution fleet is exclusively Renault as we’ve been impressed with them for many years,” says Alan Brown, Transport Manager at PMS International. “Our customers demand a speedy and highly efficient delivery service and the Renaults always deliver.
