DAF Trucks has added three experienced new field executives and appointed a new Director of its aftersales business.
Nigel Beckett has been appointed as Aftersales Director, moving back to the aftersales side of the business where he first joined DAF Trucks. Beckett’s most recent position was Fleet Sales Director.
Andrew Grigor, Mark Dimmick and Ross Taviner have all joined DAF Trucks as Regional Aftersales Managers, replacing two long-serving executives who have taken retirement – Malcolm Pritchard and Dick Makin.
Dimmick and Grigor join DAF from positions at MAN Truck & Bus UK and Tesco Distribution, respectively. Taviner previously worked as Service Manager at Barnes DAF dealership in Guildford.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to Malcolm and Dick as they enter retirement,” said John McMenamin, Service Director for DAT Trucks. “However, we have to look forward and I am very excited for the future; I’m delighted to have Mark, Andrew and Ross on board. We don’t often recruit from outside the company, but their impressive CVs are supported by their clear customer focus and it’s a combination that will see us consolidate DAF’s position in the aftermarket.”
