Nottinghamshire-based horsebox manufacturers Bloomfields has chosen the Renault Master cab chassis for its new premium vehicle range.
Having previously worked with a number of chassis manufacturers, the new Legacy range of horseboxes will be built on a Master 3.5-tonne long wheelbase platform cab, supplied by local dealer RH Commercial Vehicles.
The Legacy range has full VCA European Whole Vehicle Type Approval and UK DEFRA approval, and has been developed with technical support from Renault Trucks. Consequently, Bloomfields is the only 3.5-tonne horsebox manufacturer approved by Renault Trucks.
Bloomfield’s owner Dean Moody said, “Our business is booming. Together with our reinforced status tested bulkhead that separates the horse from the driver, we think we have a vehicle that is as strong and as safe as possible for both passenger and horse.”
