UK coach holiday provider Daish’s Holidays has recorded significant improvements in compliance control and driver infringements following an upgrade to TruTac’s CPT Tacho Analysis.
The company’s previous system was found to be slow and disjointed to operate, prompting the switch to TruTac and its software designed to combine accurate data with speed and ease of use. Developed in conjunction with the Confederation of Passenger Transport, the TruTac system has been created specifically to suit the passenger service vehicle industry.
“We use CPT Tacho Analysis, CPT Daily Checks and TruLicence,” said Transport Manager, Bryan Maddern. “We have 19 of our 23 coaches hooked up to the system using TruTac’s remote downloading boxes and ‘next-day’ reporting of all key information at our fingertips all the time. The CPT Daily Checks driver app is also a massive improvement. Using the mobile App our drivers can go through routine daily checks and keep us informed right away of any repairs or vehicle issues which need attention. Among other things, they can also view the traffic status which of course is a major help. All the drivers are delighted with it.”
Any performance issues can be immediately attended to through easily-accessible information, where the previous system required could take up to a month to deliver analysis. The TruLicence programme also enables Bryan and the team to review all driver and new driver licence history, points and validity.
