Harris Bus & Coach unveiled the Higer range of bus and coach models at the CV Show – a mix of diesel and fully-electric models.
On display were:
· The new V-Series, V10, V12 and V14 Euro-6 coaches
· A fully-electric 12m Azure city-bus
· A fully-electric 9m Steed XL city-bus
Built to full European specifications, the Higer New V Series feature Cummins engines, ZF gearboxes, and premium braking and steering systems.
Harris Bus & Coach UK launched in 2025 as a dedicated UK operation under the Harris Group umbrella, with headquarters in Liverpool and a dealer network across the country.
Last year, it signed a new ten-year strategic cooperation agreement to become the exclusive distributor of Higer buses and coaches in the UK from 2026.
Harris Bus & Coach UK offers full sales, service and parts support for both electric and diesel vehicles, backed by factory-trained technicians, 24/7 roadside assistance and Harris Non-Stop mobile service.
Bill Laidlaw, UK Managing Director at Harris Bus and Coach said: “With Higer officially entering the UK market in 2026, the CV Show has been a key step in bringing the buses into the UK at scale.
“The New V Series has attracted strong interest on site, with visitors stopping by for close-up views and in-depth technical discussions.”
Meanwhile, a highlight on the Harris Maxus UK stand was the eTERRON 9, an all-electric 4×4 pick-up.
CV Show attendees were able to experience the vehicle on an indoor off-road demonstration course, giving them opportunity to see its capability first-hand.
