Nexus Rental launches HGV and plant offer 

B2B vehicle and plant hire business Nexus Rental has launched a new Plant, Equipment and HGV offer, designed to address the hidden cost and complexity of multi-supply partner hire management. 

The proposition is built on the firm’s Iris platform, which brings together a hire management module, bespoke account configuration, compliance management, damage claims workflows, self-service reporting, and centralised invoice processing. 

Behind the platform is the Live Hire Desk: a team of experienced plant, equipment and HGV specialists available by phone, email, and live chat.  

Nexus offers coverage across five categories: site and groundworks, material handling, HGV and specialist fleets, access equipment, site setup and welfare. 

The Nexus Iris system also offers insight into emissions data across the entire hire estate by asset, supply partners and  site, pre-configured green booking preferences, equipment specifications and environmental impact data to support carbon reduction policies.  

Equipment choices also include electric and solar-powered, as well as hybrid and zero-emissions options. 

Nexus’ supply partner network for specialist plant, equipment and HGV rental includes more than 700,000 assets across about 125 supply partners as well as 650 branches.
