Dawsongroup has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Dublin-based commercial truck and van rental, leasing and contract hire business, Dan Ryan Truck Rental.
The deal represents a significant milestone in Dawsongroup’s growth strategy, strengthened by the support of parent company KKR, which provides a strong platform for expansion beyond the UK, as Dawsongroup pursues its ambition to build a broader European presence.
Dan Ryan Truck Rental will benefit from Dawsongroup’s scale, resources and broader capabilities, and continue to operate under its established brand and as a separate business within Dawsongroup.
Headquartered in Milton Keynes, Dawsongroup has developed excellent supplier relationships, a diversified customer base and employs more than 1,150 employees across 11 countries.
Dan Ryan Truck Rental operates a modern office and truck servicing centre at Park West industrial estate in Dublin to support its large customer base and 850 strong vehicle fleet including multi-temperature, pharmaceutical, refrigerated trucks and vans.
