Mercedes-Benz has announced that its new Vito Sport-X van is now available to order in the UK, with the first deliveries expected later this month.
Based on the existing Vito Select trim, the Sport-X includes a motorsport-inspired exterior design, upgraded interior materials and additional standard equipment.
The model is powered by the Mercedes-Benz 190 PS 2.0-litre diesel engine, paired with 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, producing 440 Nm of torque and capable of 0–62 mph in 10 seconds.
Available as a 5-seater crew van in L2 and L3 body lengths, the Vito Sport-X offers payloads of up to 733 kg, load capacity of up to 4.1 m³ and towing capability of up to 2,500 kg.
A removable rear bench also allows for additional load space when needed.
Exterior changes include a redesigned front bumper and grille with integrated splitter, rear spoiler, gloss black detailing, side skirts, roof rails, Sport-X badging, sport stripes on the bonnet and sides as well as 19-inch diamond-cut black alloy wheels.
Inside, the standard three-seat front bench has been replaced with individual sport seats with integrated headrests, redesigned bolsters for comfort and Sport-X branding.
Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and a centre console unit with storage are included as standard.
The Vito Sport-X also includes smartphone integration, Tempmatic air conditioning, ambient lighting and driver assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
In addition, each Vito Sport-X includes a three-year manufacturer warranty, 30 years’ MobiloVan roadside assistance and breakdown cover and Uptime monitor.
