Commercial vehicle storage and van racking specialist Bott has announced plans to open a new Vehicle Conversion Centre in Exeter, Devon.
Located on Oberon Road within the Sowton Industrial Estate, Bott says the new facility will primarily serve customers across the South West.
Earlier this year, Bott Group announced the acquisition of Van Guard Accessories, based in Exeter. A related business in the deal was Van Guard Full Fit which specialised in ply line services, and its existing team – headed up by regional general manager, Tim Cutler – will now start the transition to the move into the new premises.
During the coming months, they, along with new colleagues, will undertake intense training on the full range of Bott products and services.
The opening date is anticipated for December 2025, once building and fit out works have been completed.
Nick Smith, CEO at Bott said: “This is an exciting step in our strategic plan to widen our UK footprint, through a combination of our important exclusive partner network and own locations.
“This complements our existing national fleet infrastructure in Ashby de-la Zouch and Cumbernauld, where we have been a leading UK provider of fleet solutions for 40 years.
“Growing our national footprint provides important coverage for our regional customers, enabling us to serve everyone from individual trade customers, through to regional and national fleets.
“This approach not only provides wider capacity in our network but also creates important localised employment opportunities”.
