From our online Funding and Support Guide to Meet the Funder events and technical guidance, SMMT helps automotive businesses identify relevant opportunities and access the support they need.
SMMT’s online Funding and Support Guide is available to members free of charge and brings together more than 100 sources of funding and finance to support automotive R&D, business growth, low carbon projects and business efficiency improvements.
The guide includes filters to help members identify relevant international and regional schemes, with information on eligibility, scheme descriptions and contact details.
Members can access the guide by logging into the Members’ Zone.

SMMT’s Meet the Funder events, delivered in partnership with Green Finance Institute (GFI), help to match automotive companies with the investment they need to help drive change and a greener future for the UK auto sector through pre-arranged meetings.
Our events attract a range of investors, including venture capital and private equity providers, as well as automotive industry players – and they are looking for an equally wide range of company types, from start-ups and scale-ups to more established suppliers looking for investment to support a significant transition or growth plan.
