Ford is celebrating the Fiesta’s position as the best-selling car in the UK, by exhibiting a timeline of the model at SMMT’s Westminster headquarters. Featured in the display is a first-generation 1976 Fiesta L, as well as the iconic 1993 Mk3 XR2i and a current-generation 1.0-litre EcoBoost-engined car.

To celebrate the arrival of the new 63-plate, SMMT has curated an exhibition at its Westminster headquarters, showcasing a number of the UK’s best-selling new cars of 2013 so far. The Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa and Nissan Qashqai included in the exhibition all occupy a top 10 position in the 2013 new car sales league table.

Volvo Cars is showcasing the latest applications of its world-renowned safety technology in an exhibition at SMMT’s Westminster headquarters. Featuring two cars from Volvo’s current model line up, the exhibit begins today and runs for two weeks, coinciding with an exclusive event in which selected members of the media will experience Volvo’s pioneering Autonomous Drive.
