Mac’s Truck Sales Group has acquired London-based FASSI crane specialist, Walker Crane Services in a move expected to significantly enhance its aftersales support services.
The new partnership will establish the Walker Crane Services site in Grays, Essex, as a strategic Southern depot for Mac’s Truck Rental, providing local operators with convenient access to its fleet of commercial vehicles, available on both flexible spot-hire and long-term rental packages.
It will also give operators in the south of England direct access to Mac’s Truck Sales’ bespoke builds.
Operating in tandem with Mac’s Truck Sales’ modern Huddersfield headquarters, the unified businesses will offer a comprehensive end-to-end solution for fleets, combining bespoke truck builds with lifetime crane maintenance.
In addition, the integration of Walker Crane Services’ FASSI servicing, parts and training expertise will enhance the aftersales network available to Mac’s customers.
Walker Crane Services brings decades of specialist experience in the testing, repair and servicing of lorry loaders, backed by a team of mobile and depot-based engineers.
The business will continue to trade as normal, with no changes to staff and no disruption to existing clients.
