9 – 16 January 2020
In January 2020 APC and SMMT, supported by the Department for International Trade will take an automotive technology mission to Beijing for the EV100 Conference and a programme of company visits, receptions and networking events.
About EV100
EV100 is a Chinese state linked association and think tank supporting and promoting the EV sector in China. EV100’s annual conference takes place in Beijing attracting senior Chinese government figures and the CEOs/Chairmen of most of China’s major OEMs and new EV car companies.
In previous years the official programme has included a UK-China session where UK companies have presented and we expect this to be repeated. As such the EV100 annual Forum is an excellent event for gaining an overview of China’s EV sector, including Government policy and strategy of key players.
The programme is expected to be as follows:
Wednesday 8 January | Depart UK |
Thursday 9 January | Arrive Beijing, China |
Friday 10 January | Visit to BAIC
UK – China Forum at EV100 Forum (presentation opportunity) |
Saturday 11 January | Attend EV100 main Forum |
Sunday 12 January | Attend Day 2 EV100 main Forum |
Monday 13 January | Meeting with Hainachuan – Chinese Tier 1 supplier
Presentation opportunity to Chinese Investors |
Tuesday 14 January | Visit to Qiantu Motors – Chinese EV sports car manufacturer
Meeting with Yuanjian Auto – New Energy Vehicle manufacturer Transfer to Baoding |
Wednesday 15 | Meeting with Great Wall Motors
Transfer to Beijing |
Thursday 16 January | Depart China Return to UK |
The programme and company calls are subject to change.
Previous UK delegations to EV100 have called on companies including BAIC, FAW, GAC, BYD, Nio and new EV players. The company calls this time are not confirmed yet but we will be of a similar quality.
The visit is supported by a Travel Grant of up to £1500 from the Advanced Propulsion Centre.
A commitment fee of £250+VAT is payable to secure your place. Visa letters will be issued on payment of the commitment fee.
