BFGoodrich is to sell its first ever range of tyres for trucks, buses and coaches in the UK and Ireland.
The firm currently sells more than 1.6 million tyres for commercial vehicles outside of Europe, but from January 2018 BFGoodrich will introduce a range of 54 steer, drive and trailer tyres available in 17.5-inch, 19.5-inch and 22.5-inch fitments across the commercial segments, for long distance and on/off-road use.
BFGoodrich’s drive axle tyres are predominantly certified 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snowflake) to guarantee a minimum level of performance in harsh conditions, with all tyres marked M+S.

All the tyres are offered with an ‘100% satisfaction guarantee’, meaning that anyone not fully satisfied within 100 days of their new tyres being fitted can return them to the manufacturer for a refund for the value of the remaining tread depth. The range is comprised of Route Control, Cross Control and Urban Control; Route Control are designed for general haulage and the coach market, Cross Control is designed to be tougher and offer high grip for the construction industry, and Route Control is a low-noise tyre targeted at local bus services with tougher sidewalls and an RFID chip for maintenance.
