Maxus has unveiled the first electric pick-up truck to be launched for the UK market.
The T90EV pick-up, exhibited at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, is the EV version of the T90 which is on sale in China and powered by a conventional internal combustion engine.
It will be available to order in this country from August 2022, with delivery in the first quarter of 2023.
The vehicle has a 201hp motor, powered by an 88.55kWh battery and, with a weight of 1,631lbs, provides a WLTP range of 198 miles.
The exterior styling includes a stainless steel sports bar, outside rope hook, 17-inch alloy wheels and halogen headlights with automatic induction and LED daytime running lights.
The interior has been designed for optimum space and features a neat dashboard design and floor console, as well as a 10.25-inch digital touch screen instrument cluster.
Its double cab model measures 5,365mm x 1,900mm x 1,809mm, while the cargo bed measures 1,485mm x 1,510mm x 530mm.
The T90EV also comes with a reversing camera and rain-sensing windscreen wipers.
