Family-run operator Angela Coaches of Southampton has taken delivery of a new 13.2m Irizar Integral i8 luxury coach to celebrate its 70th anniversary in business.
Supplied with 48 seats, the vehicle is powered by a DAF MX-13 355, 483 hp engine, driving through the ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
Passenger amenities include a rear floor-mounted toilet with an electric hand dryer and Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system with front and drop-down centre monitors.
The seating is equipped with a lateral displacement system, magazine holders, seat-back tables, multi-position footrests and USB charging points, with finishing touches including leather armrests and embroidered leather headrests.
Leather driver and courier seats have been chosen for additional comfort and durability, while the leather steering wheel provides a touch of luxury for the driver.
Meanwhile, a rear servery area with Corian worksurfaces has been installed which houses a coffee machine, double refrigerator and a sink area.
The appearance of the i8 is enhanced with metallic paint and factory-applied vinyls to commemorate the company’s Platinum anniversary.
LED Exterior lighting also adds to the kerb appeal of the coach.
Angela Coaches has been serving the South England coast since 1953, providing continental tours and corporate charter, alongside other duties.
