Tell us about your eDeliver 5 eLCV, launched at the recent Commercial Vehicle Show?

At the show we unveiled our eDeliver 5 eLCV, available to order now, and offered in one length and two heights, with double sliding side door to the side and a double opening at the rear.

Payload is 1,200kg and cargo volume is 6.6m3 or 7.6m3 for the high-roof version.

The model on our stand at the show featured a 64kWh battery, giving a WLTP combined range of 208 miles. The 163hp electric motor delivers peak torque of 240Nm.

Equipment includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Bluetooth and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In addition, driver safety features bring adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lane keep assistance, 360-degree surrounding camera and rear sensor, as well as speed limit warnings.

Describe the new Mifa 7 seven-seater MPV also unveiled at the show?

The Mifa 7 MPV joins the larger Mifa 9 launched in 2022 and is aimed at taxi drivers, executive chauffeurs, hotels and hospitality providers.

Available to order now, it is equipped with electric sliding doors and a hidden door handle design, plus a large panoramic sunroof. The seven-seater also has the best internal width ratio in its class.

The vehicle is offered in two variants, including a Premium trim model that comes with a 90kWh battery, giving a range of up to 298 miles (WLTP combined), and paired with a 245hp electric motor.

In addition, there are Luxury and Elite models, fitted with a 77kWh battery offering 255 miles WLTP combined.

Features include wireless charging in the cockpit, USB charging ports for passengers, and safety systems such as adaptive cruise control, integrated cruise assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, speed limit information function and intelligent high-low beam control.

How would you compare the two vehicles?

The eDeliver 5 combines impressive range with adaptable design, while the Mifa 7 blends luxury comfort with cutting edge technology and efficiency. These vehicles not only showcase Maxus’ relentless pursuit of innovation but also underscore our mission to provide customers with unparalleled driving experiences.

Both new models will start being delivered to customers in August this year.

Tell us how Maxus has grown in the UK over the past few years?

It’s been eight years since the debut of our first all-electric commercial vehicle, the EV80, at the CV Show, marking a remarkable journey of progress and innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of electric vehicles.

As a young brand, Maxus has swiftly emerged as a trailblazer in the electric vehicle sector. And while we may be perceived as disruptors, our commitment to enhancing EV technology remains steadfast. Since 2016, we have introduced ten superb commercial and passenger vehicles to the UK market, eight of which are fully electric.

Our latest products are yet another example of our e-vehicle market leadership and our unmatched ambition to continually build on our range.
